Change to Computer Workstations Access
In order to give priority to our students, we are currently changing the number of computer workstations that can be accessed by guest users. The change will allow guest users to use one of 16 designated computer workstations. These include 4 stations on the 4th floor of the Library, and 12 stations in the Stimpson Media Gallery (just outside of the Library). These designated workstations can be identified by a sign at the top of the workstation stating "Guest Users Welcome." This change will be fully in effect as of January 2008.
In order to complete this change, we will be deleting any guest accounts that were created and have not been used since September 1, 2007. If you have not used your guest account since September 1, 2007 and wish to do so in the future, please apply for a new guest account.
University Students/Faculty from other Educational Institutions
The University of Winnipeg Library has reciprocal relations with other educational institutions (e.g. University of Manitoba) providing students and faculty from these institutions additional privileges. Please consult our Circulation Desk staff regarding borrowing privileges, and consult our Reference Desk staff regarding computer use privileges. You must carry a valid ID from your educational institution.
