Student Guide to Evaluating Information Technology on Campus

Educause has a Student Guide to Evaluating Information Technology on Campus - http://www.educause.edu/studentguide/

I haven't read it carefully (yet), but it has reminded me of something I heard a week ago at the MADLat Conference at University of Manitoba from the President of Athabasca Univeristy (and wouldn't you like to be him, telling Ralph Klein that he has been expelled for plagiarism). But I digress.

Dominique Abrioux mentioned the Consumer's Guide to E-Learning - http://www.amtec.ca/site/publications/reports/ConGuideEngCD.pdf

So . . . .

Maybe what we need is a Consumer's Guide to Information Literacy Instruction: How to avoid being the next Ralph Klein (OK, we might have to work on the sub-title). It would compare our Universities and let students know where the best information literacy programs are.

Another thing mentioned by Dominique Abrioux is Athabasca is being accredited by the Middle States (I think that's what he said).
