Proposals for eLit 2006

Proposals are now being accepted for eLit 2006 via their online proposal form. The 5th annual conference is being held this year at Loughborough University in Loughborough, England. I went to this conference in 2003, in Glasgow, and I learned lots. If you can afford to make the international journey, it's a good one to check out.

St. John's Receives $1.5 Million Grant to Fund Curriculum Revision and Faculty Development

This looks very interesting. Wouldn't it be nice to have a pot of money in Canada like this!

Reminder - WILU 35 proposals

Happy New Year to all. And with the new year comes the realization that WILU 35 is just months away. With that, a final reminder has been issued about submitting proposals. If you have been thinking about proposing something this will most likely be your last chance to be considered. Deadline for submissions is January 9, 2006. You can submit online here.

Those who have already sent proposals should hear from the program committee in the next few weeks.
