WILU 35 Registration Open
Here's a message from the WILU Planning Committee:
WILU35: 35th Annual Workshop on Instruction in Library Use
May 10-12, 2006
Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia
Registration for WILU35 is now open at http://library.acadiau.ca/wilu/.
Space is limited, so register soon: some events are nearly full!
WILU brings librarians together to share best practices and theories in
all areas of information literacy and has become the primary national
forum for library instruction.
Registration is CA$290 and includes one pre-conference workshop, all
sessions, a banquet dinner, all (hot!) breakfasts, all breaks, all
lunches, and a cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception.
Take advantage of local scenery and flavours by joining us for dinner on
the Fundy shore at the Halls Harbour lobster pound (non-lobster options
also available). The quintessential Maritime meal at one of Nova
Scotia's quaintest fishing villages! Details here.
The picturesque town of Wolfville, situated on the shores of the Minas
Basin in Nova Scotia's lush Annapolis Valley, boasts the world's highest
tides and the world's smallest natural harbour. High tides during WILU
are predicted to be 45 feet.
