Peter has left a note in the notebook on the reference desk about printing MS Works files from the library computers. He suggests that we inform students that they should be saving their MS Works documents as RTF files which will allow them to open the files using any word processing software, or Word Viewer. This is a good solution.
I also wanted to clarify that it is possible to open MS Works files from the reference desk computers. It is also possible to open them using MS Word installed on the workstations in the Learning Commons. This gives students a few more options if they have not already saved their file as RTF and need to print immediately.
