The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) Research Unit is pleased to announce that applications for our Research Fellowship Program and our Seed Funding Grant competition will be available on September 7, 2010 at www.pogo.ca under the Research tab.
POGO Research Fellowship Program
Fellowships are awarded to applicants working toward a PhD, pursuing a post doctoral degree, or to licensed clinicians and healthcare practitioners of any discipline working in the field of pediatric oncology. The PhD/Post Doctoral Fellowship includes a yearly salary of $45,000 and the ability to apply for $5,000 in project-specific one-time operating support. The Clinician Scholar Award includes a yearly salary of $55,000 and the ability to apply for $5,000 in project-specific one-time operating support.
Applications are to be submitted by December 3, 2010.
Seed Funding Grants
Since 2006, POGO has offered Seed Funding Grants of up to $15,000 to facilitate or support feasibility studies, self-contained studies, or the development of grant applications.
The deadline for application is November 26, 2010.
