August 8, 20081:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Carl Ridd Santuary - Bryce Hall

Racism: Take Notice; Take Action” - an introductory dialogue for a difficult but important issue.
Within a Christian framework, we will have opportunities to listen and share our values and beliefs, and to explore understandings and myths about race and racism. We will take time to notice how racism separates us from ourselves, from one another, and from God, and will begin to explore what a faithful response might mean for us.

Maximum of ten participants.
Refreshments will be provided. Please advise instructor of any relevant dietary restrictions or allergies.

I am preparing and offering this discussion as part of an independent study course towards in my MDiv studies through St. Andrew's College, Saskatoon: "PA395: Readings and Research in Canadian Church-Based Anti-Racism Education".
