Project: I have finished “I have to write a Topic Research Paper…” today and also have emailed the files to CJ.
Having worked with both Rakim and Meebo, I would recommend the library to go with Meebo. Just as James said, Meebo has much less technical problems and is more user-friendly. Especially the user can see that UWLiveHelp is typing while UWLiveHelp is typing in Meebo. This is a very important feature to both the user and the librarian.
Final remark: It has been a great learning opportunity working as the Chat Reference Intern for the University of Winnipeg Library. The experience with UWinnipeg Library not only have complemented and reinforced what I have learned in class, but also will benefit my future career.
I would like to sincerely thank CJ and other colleagues from Reference Desk and Circulation Desk who have given me great support and help. Also thank you CJ for those wonderful projects.
