Another quiet night

Both calls came at the beginning of my shift. In fact, it looked like one person was waiting for me to log in to ask their question. They asked about dropping a course, and while it wasn’t quite within the realm of the library, I thought it was nice that they thought of turning to us when there was something they needed to know.

The other question was about the interpretation of the status “ON SEARCH” in the catalogue. I couldn’t find information about that anywhere on the site or in my notes. I told them what my best guess was, but referred them to the reference desk. CJ, can you tell me about the interpretation of this status?
